Beijing acrobatics troupe (BATT) has officially announced the winners of the annual Chinese circus competitions, which take place at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square every year.
The Chinese acrobates troupe’s winner, Li Xiaohui, won the competition in a record-breaking time of just under 10 minutes.
The Beijing troupe won in a stunningly fast 5:11.7, surpassing the previous record of 5:10.6 set in 2014.
The troupe is currently holding the record for the fastest time in the competition, and the previous best time was set in 2010 by the Beijing acrobators troupe.
The Beijing acrobat’s troupe will hold the title of the world’s fastest circus troupe in 2019.
This year, Li will compete against other contestants in a series of competitions across the country, which is being led by China’s top-ranked troupe organization.
The top 10 performers from each of the top performing circus troups across China will compete in the 2019 circus competitions.
The winner will be announced on January 20, 2019, and it is expected that Li will be crowned the Chinese circus performer of the year.
The 2018 Chinese circus troupets won the prestigious “Great” award at the 2016 World Fair, and this year’s Beijing circus trouper is also expected to be the top performer in 2018.
